From the Principal...

Urgent Announcement

Welcome to the web page of  Montross Middle School. We are excited about the second semester of this school year. We are also extremely proud of the hard work of all our students from the first semester. Our students made tremendous improvements on their preliminary first semester SOL scores. Students received trophies and special recognitions at our Grade Level Recognition Program on last week. We want to thank our parents again for your dedicated support. Parental involvement plays an important part in the success of any school. Continue to encourage your child to attend school each day. Perfect attendance pays off in a child's academics. I want to personally thank the hard working teachers who went beyond the call of duty to accomplish our main goal: increase of student achievement.  As we move forward ,"Failure is Not an Option".  We will continue to provide a challenging rigorous academic program to assist all students in achieving in a safe and nurturing environment. All parents are welcome to visit us here Montross Middle anytime. All visitors are asked to stop by the main office first and sign-in.
